Alexoid Luce, also known as Alexdrina Chong, is a Malaysian artist, illustrator, and creative director. During the peak of the pandemic in 2021, with no creative jobs coming in and staying at home, she started drawing and painting, mainly images of a woman whom she identifies as a reflection of her. These illustrations grew and evolved and filled up the pages of her journals.
"100 Pages of Solitude" is a compilation of images from three journals between 2021-2022. The images are confessional, documenting her experience living with bipolar disorder. The surreal and whimsical illustrations are somewhat identifiable and relatable to some of us, making them rather endearing.
Postcard sets are also available, depicting some of the images taken from her journals.
